  • 1.Wealth is not a thing.
It's not money or a bar of gold. It's a thought, belief and a spiritual attitude. Wealth is a spirit of abundance and poverty is a curse.
What you think about money is more important than the money itself. One of the questions on the Warrior Coaching Performance Sheet (that Warrior clients fill out every month) asks are you in a spiritual state of abundance or scarcity? Abundance comes from trusting in God's provision no matter the circumstance. Scarcity is from the enemy and can strike at any time regardless of the size of your bank account. In order to keep growing and to keep on track with your calling you will have to continue to take risks. Often these risks involve putting your money on the line. The higher you go the more you have to risk and the more courage is required. If you know in your spirit that God is directing your steps and that He holds all the abundant wealth in the universe, then the courageous step into the promised land is easier. If you listen to the whispers of Satan you will be afraid and will hold back. This will lead to getting stuck in old patterns of behaviour and not moving forward, opportunities missed and purpose unfulfilled.

    2. When it comes to money it's best to deprive yourself now to ensure your future success.
There is a balance there to be mindful of so that you still allow yourself to enjoy life and the gifts that God provides. The real litmus test is whether or not you have a budget and a plan as to what is important to you and where you want to invest your financial resources. Stay humble, fight entitlement at all costs and spend less than you make. That is where financial joy resides!!

    3. It can get really lonely at the top.
As you go higher, the path gets narrower and the numbers get fewer and fewer. Cherish the relationships of the people that are on the path with you. The reality is clear. As you step out and courageously pursue the journey of your purpose, people around you that are not willing to change will be left behind. God will bring new people into your life that will share your journey. These people, your new tribe, are critical to your success. One of the areas that Warrior clients are encouraged to set goals in is social/recreational.  It is also the one that is most neglected. Take the time to identify the people that you want to share your life with and invest in those relationships.

That's a wrap for this series. There are a bunch of golden nuggets in those 21 points. Pick one and implement the change.

And once again engage in the discussion. Leave a comment!  It will help you solidify your position and it will light the way for others.

Ps 23 - The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want... could also be translated; The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing! Thanks for your insight Yurij! I was actually thinking earlier today how the Lord has used you and Ed to change and challenge many - me being one of those over the recent years. May the Lord continue to bless you to be a blessing!

Thanks for the wisdom Yuri. One thing I can say for certain is Warrior has helped me huge in my “stinking thinking” about money and prosperity. God has called us to live in freedom and not in bondage, and it is crazy how some untrue beliefs held me back. Thank for your wisdom.

Wealth is a spirit of abundance and poverty is a curse. This line has stuck with me. None of us are impoverished if we choose to focus wisely and spiritually. Thank you Yurij for this insight!

One of the most valuable teachings on money for me in the past 15 years in warrior.... live with margin so that you can be generous at all times. Holding money with an open hand and be willing to do what God asks with money...it’s not mine and it’s not the source of my joy. Thanks for more great wisdom in this post Coach!

Thanks Coach Yurij for this blog! Point #3 really resonates with me. I've made it a goal to call one close friend every month, but unfortunately I've neglected to do so this year. Thanks for reminding me just how important ALL the goals are that we make. Putting it in my WW90 right now as a matter of fact.

This one is the best! So true, and well said. Entitlement and ego ruins savings and overrides a budget. Thank you for being you! Awesome!

A good reminder of what wealth and abundance truly is vs what the world tells us it is. Our posture towards this is huge, something I've been personally struggling with and journeying through this past year. Thanks for this Yurij.

WEALTH IS A SPIRIT OF ABUNDANCE!!! I love that. My spirit of abundance or lack does always come right down to... Am I trusting My Heavenly Father? Sometimes I think I am but I'm really not if there is any kind of lack thinking. Sometimes people say its just being realistic but its really not trusting and Not believing in Him. Thanks Coach Yurij for the wisdom!

Love the wealth perspective. I fight the spiritual vs. material world battle daily. When I read this I am reminded of Matthew 6:21 when we we are asked about where our “treasure” is stored. For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be

For me, this is an actual example of how wisdom has more value than money. I can feel the importance of staying trained up and in the word to keep me grounded in what truly matters to me and my family. With that said, the enemy is always nearby happy to try and pull me off course, usually with feelings of fear. Your coaching has brought me back to a position of strength and peace many times. Thanks Yurij

Coach Yurij, thank you for this amazing wisdom. The biggest thing that Warrior has taught me is to risk big for a big God. Nothing is too much for Him. I am continuing to trust as I step into the opportunities He provides, multiplication is the result. Also learning how to stay on top of my budget this year by inputting expenses on a regular basis and getting updates on my monthly bookkeeping so I know where I stand and how to steward wisely :).
