    who's got your back, relationship

Leaders in every field often feel isolated and have a very limited circle of relationships. Because of a leader's position it is often hard to create secure relationships that go deep and bring joy.

So what is a leader supposed to do?  Read on for some advice to help you live a JOY-FILLED life as a leader.

Yesterday, I had two patients experience miracles in my practice that were months in the making.

These two patient stories highlight the importance of last weeks blog on time and frequency, but also show us how ultimately, God is in control.

The Greatest Thing You Can Do For Your Patients!

    HealingTakeTime
The greatest thing that you can do for your patients is to see them long enough and frequently enough to help them get well.
This is very difficult to do in an environment where the patient has been taught by the pharmaceutical industry and the medical establishment that relief should be immediate and permanent.

Changing the patient's mindset to understand that ALL HEALING TAKES TIME and that EACH ADJUSTMENT BUILDS ON THE NEXT is perhaps the biggest challenge we have in getting sick people well.

This means that we need to see patients long enough and frequently enough to make a change in the spine and the nerve system so that healing can happen.

Why play musical chairs with your career and your life?
Overcoming average in business and mediocrity in life requires much more than dabbling in the many shiny offerings of good ideas out there.
Becoming a WORLD CHAMPION at life and in business takes hard work and diligent coaching from someone who's been where you want to go and will help you in your personal transformation from the inside out.

Staying Full Out: Renovating Your Life

    RenovatingLife

I hope that everyone has taken some steps towards playing more Full Out with their life.

As you may have noticed, it is often easier said than done. The best of intentions can get derailed with old patterns and old habits.
Yesterday Marie and I started our kitchen renovation. The entire old kitchen: all the appliances, cabinets, and countertops are now in the garage and sold on Kijiji.

Once you do that you are all in. We set up a make shift kitchen in the basement. I'm talking make shift.
I have to stand on Freddie's treadmill to make my espresso in the morning.

    Full Out
physical training-Warrior Coaching style-means training in the pain. You must push your body into the pain zone or you won't work hard enough to ensure adaptation and improvement. You have to suffer!  Get into the pain box and go there consistently, and then let your body recover and get fitter, stronger, faster.

Have you ever received some great advice from a coach or a mentor and wanted to implement something new in your business or practice, and then on Monday you were too afraid to act on it?

What is going on between your ears is controlling your life!

Have you ever had a season where your thoughts are primarily negative and worry and even anxiety rule the day?
These thoughts and feelings typically correspond to a downturn in your personal and business life.
But what came first?  The down turn or the negative thoughts and feelings?
In my experience it is usually our thoughts that dictate our outcomes and not the other way around.
Certainly tragedy can throw us off our game and cause distress, but much more often then not we don't need a tragedy to begin a slippery slide into worry and mediocrity.

What does FULL OUT look like when we are training the spirit?

There is no better model then Jesus himself.

Jesus was sent by His Father to walk amongst us as a man. He was fully God and fully man.
When he ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father, he promised that the Holy Spirit would be sent to us as our comforter and would help us to walk out our lives like Jesus did.

    FULLOUTLIFE

Recently on a Warrior Call I discussed how Warrior Coaching trains people to be Full Out people. This ability to be able to dig down and pull everything that is in you out of you is what we do best.
We can teach you how to run your practice or your business better but once you know that, the real work begins.

    Sold Out or Selling Out?

    soldout

    Sold Out
and Selling Out: Very closely related but completely opposed to each other.

According to The Free Dictionary, SOLD OUT is defined as 'having all tickets or accommodations completely sold, especially ahead of time'.
In how we live our lives personally, in practice, and in business, SOLD OUT also means that we have surrendered completely to a set of guiding values and principles.

SELLING OUT on the other hand, according to Wikipedia, is defined as 'an expression for the compromising of a person's integrity, morality, authenticity, or principles, in exchange for personal gain, such as money.'
In terms of practice or business, selling out may be associated with a drifting mission or a vision to make oneself more mainstream or appealing to a wider audience.
